Gala Celebrates Independence

The RJO celebrating Jamaican's 49th year of independence. The Gala will be held on Saturday, July 23rd, at the Airport Holiday Inn Hotel in Rochester, NY. The keynote speaker is Her Excellency, Audrey P. Marks, Jamaica's Ambassador to the United States. City COuncil President, Lovely Warren and Senator Joseph Robach will join in welcoming the Ambassador.

Garth Fagan, award winning dacne choreographer, who traces his roots to Jamaica will be honored for his 40+ years of contribution to the arts and to the community of Rochester.
