Fundraising: manage all development activities dedicated to supporting the RJO in achieving its mission
Membership & Communications: expand RJO’s membership base, increase awareness of and strengthen image of RJO in the Rochester community: communicate accomplishments of the organization to the Rochester community
Programs: propose event ideas throughout the year, develop criteria for awards, prepare invitation packages, build list of potential event attendees and speakers, handle décor and event theme, design, implement and tabulate formal program evaluations when needed, liaison with all other committees
Who can Join
Membership in this organization shall be open to all persons of Jamaican
background, descent, or affiliation who supports the mission of the
Rochester Jamaican Organization upon written application and payment of
membership fee.
